In 2022, I worked for a while at the SPCA of Brazoria County through the Mad Cattery (the cat adoption center downtown), and every time we've put these scratchers into the kennels, the cats have put them to good use right away. I even stopped in to visit my most recent former fosters (who are currently in ringworm quarantine) and requested to put one of those scratchers into their kennel since their nails were getting sharp. Sure enough, my babies started scratching away at it, so I know they'll be a little happier while they're being medicated in that area. I went home afterwards to look up the site because I want to order some for my home (for future fosters) and to donate to the shelter as needed.
